CONSULTING
Lortech, Inc. provides general consulting services to Owners and Contractors from project inception through construction to final closeout including assistance with project disputes that generally arise during construction projects.
LITIGATION
Lortech, Inc. provides litigation and arbitration support to Owners, Contractors and Attorneys in the form of expert reports and testimony on building, site and utility construction projects.
defect evaluation
Lortech, Inc. evaluates construction defects and issues reports of findings and corrective action plans as necessary. Common defects include damaged foundations, sagging floor systems, cut trusses, water intrusion, fire and storm damage.
FOUNDATION LIFTING
In the wake of Super Storm Sandy, Lortech Inc. has provided numerous elevated foundation designs to bring homes into conformance with revised flood elevation maps. Many of the elevated homes include pile foundation designs; both timber and helical.
SEPTIC DESIGN
Lortech, Inc. provided new and alteration designs for residential and commercial wastewater treatment (septic) systems. Design include conventional and new technology systems.

All of our details and designs are drawn and organized through the latest AutoCAD software. We can provide any file format necessary and have the in-house capabilities to print large-format plans.

ABOUT US
Owner and founder
William C. Longo, P.E., C.M.E. founded Lortech, Inc. in 1993. After graduating from Rutgers College of Engineering he worked as an associate and staff engineer with two Central New Jersey engineering firms. There he gained design and construction management experience working on projects ranging from residential subdivisions up to multi-million dollar public works projects. He acquired experience in planning, design and construction management. After this time, he served as Chief Engineer for a New Jersey Highway/Utility contractor which performed work in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
Since forming Lortech, Inc. in 1993, he has worked on thousands of projects on all scales from residential up to and including multi-million dollar public works projects. Services on these projects were of either a design or consulting nature in the form of inspections and design plan preparation, report and cost analysis preparation and litigation support/expert witness services. Clients include Owners, Contractors, Insurance Companies, Attorneys, Architects and other Consulting Engineers.
His construction experience, combined with his design experience and credentials as a licensed building inspector (HHS) add a critical component necessary to properly integrate engineering designs with real world applications.
